Backyard Wedding Full of Fun!

If you were able to meet this bride and groom, you'd understand why I titled this blog post as I did. I've actually known the groom since I was a kid. He's always been the life of the party! So, having a fun wedding was obviously one of the most important aspects of this wedding! And, with the bride being a Tampa Bay Bucs Cheerleader, obviously a lot of dancing was going to go on!

The wedding took place in Lindsey's parents backyard. The ceremony took place on the families dock with the Gulf of Mexico as the backdrop. The palm trees made it obvious that this was a storybook Florida wedding. The guest enjoyed a beautiful and heartfelt ceremony led by Brian's (the groom) cousin. And then once the ceremony was over, the party started! The large 220 person guest list had cocktails and hors d'ouevres while being surrounded by the elements of Florida sunshine, mangroves and mid 70* weather!

The backyard was set with rows of feasting tables for the reception. The sweetheart table and bridal party tables were the perfect setting for the 17 foot mangrove wall. With strings of cafe lights strung overhead of the feasting tables, this lighting created the perfect ambiance to finish off the look of this incredible set up.

The live band offered the flexibility of everyone's dance style and Brian and Lindsey had a great time showing off their vocal skills while joining in on a few songs.

For dessert, they opted for something out of the ordinary - a DONUT WALL!! With close to 400 donuts, and several different flavor options, this wowed the crowd and was a delicious alternative to the traditional wedding cake.

The guest sent off the newlyweds by a sparkler exit and they road off into the waters by boat! This was such an incredible wedding and I am so glad they gave me the opportunity to be a part of it.
