Meet Kelly 

Owner/Executive Planner

Hi, I'm Kelly!  Thank you for taking a little bit of time to "meet me".  Born and raised in the Sunshine State, I am a 2006 Graduate from the University of Florida (Go Gators) with a degree in Hospitality Management.  I have over a decade of event experience and feel completely blessed that I have found my purpose in life and that is: being a Mom and planning events!

 

Here is a little bit of my background:

I started my career working in Catering Sales at an upscale Country Club. During my time in this industry, I did my best to learn the industry and gain knowledge of how food and beverage runs on the backside of an event as well as how to accurately run an event timeline.  During my time at the Country Club, I assisted with nearly 450 weddings plus hundreds of other non-ceremonial events (i.e. golf tournaments, Gala's, birthday parties, retirements parties, bar/bat mitzvah's, holiday parties, etc).  Although this career required a lot of invested time, I am forever grateful for all that I've learned and have been able to keep with me during my own event planning adventures. 

 

After departing from the Country Club, my husband and I started our own little family.  After our son was born in January 2014, I started planning weddings on my own, which then led into something greater than I could ever have imagined.  I officially started 'Kelly Kennedy Weddings and Events' in August 2016 and have been beyond blessed with the most incredible couples and most amazing weddings and events since then.  I live such a wonderful life; I get to be a part of others happiness and then come home to my own creation of happiness - my husband, my son and my daughter!  I look forward to meeting you and learning how I can make your wedding planning process the absolute best possible!

Hi! I’m Anna!

 

I have been in the event and hospitality industry for over thirteen years, with experience in catering, rentals, entertainment and planning. I consider my job of an extension to who I am, fueled by the creativity and endless possibilities each event brings to the table, and constantly inspired to bring new ideas to light. I strive to create a truly meaningful, memorable, and magical experience that our clients will never forget.

 

What I Love most about my job are the close relationships I build with my couples through the many months of planning their perfect day.  My favorite moment of an event is the time our clients see their event space(s) ready to go just prior to guest arrival.

When I am not following my passion, I enjoy spending time with my husband Steven, son Erik, and daughter Madeline. As a family we love hiking up mountains and enjoying the great outdoors.  We spend a great deal of time nurturing our garden and trying out new recipes in the kitchen. Beyond my family and friends, I share a love for helping others within the community. I volunteer at a local center as a client advocate.
